Yalla Yalla Pangottic Circus Theatre

The Tobacco Factory studio theatre The Brewery hosts award-winning PanGottic Circus Theatre and their new spectacle Yalla Yalla. In this innovative piece of contemporary theatre, the young British/Israeli company plays with human tempos, elements and techniques from physical theatre, rhythm, repetition and reaction. The body reacts to the sound, the sound reacts to body movements in an accomplished mix of beat-boxing and live music.
Exploring physical space between people, the show combines circus-theatre with mime and physical comedy where no words are spoken. Performed by Revital Gottshalk, whose background is dance and physical theatre, and Matt Pang, a juggler and physical performer, the show is backed by an original soundtrack composed and performed live on stage by Bristol based musician Vid Warren.
The three ingenious performers merge their musical talent and circus and theatrical skills throughout the show engaging the spectator up to the end, when this is invited to contribute to the act in a last hilarious moment of irresistible comedy. The show appeals to everyone, young and old, people who simply want to have a laugh and theatre experts. The excellent use of music and fast-paced rhythm amuse the audience that leaves the studio theatre laughing and smiling, not keen on leaving at all. Yalla Yalla is an exciting contemporary performance that overcomes the boundaries of age, language and culture.
